New Online Colouring Pages

Still busy adding and creating new stuff for my site, the latest is an idea my mate Matt and I discussed at work which is to just fire them out there. I’ve taken that approach on the New Online Colouring section which now features on all the pages on my site (top right banner).
There are over fifty of the latest online colouring pages on there and I intend to add more to it soon, its not (as a web designer) the ideal way to do it, but as a user of the site  its just great, click the picture you want and colour it in, simple…

I’m also adding the new online versions to the relevant key sections and example being the bird colouring pages, so we now have the printables and the online versions.

If all goes to plan I’ll be adding the rest of the birds and more new ones  in the next few days. As always hope you guys like the new additions.

Eight New Kids Word Search Games

Kids Word SearchJust released another eight new kids word search games. The new ones consist of four easy games featuring:  Jobs, Valentines, Halloween and Dental themes.

There are also four easier versions of these available for younger children to complete. Got loads more of these in the pipline that should be featured on my site soon.

Sheep On-line Colouring

Sheep On-line ColouringJust added another five cool Sheep Online Coloring pages to the site, love these new ones all quite simple but great to colour in using the new coloring app.

Still need to add the canoeing sheep but I’m going to do that one later as the five I have display neatly.

Still pushing to get the new ones out there, got loads still to do, but loving the quality of the images that can be created using the different brush sizes and coloring tools.

Loads more new stuff coming soon…

New People Colouring Pages

Still busy adding the new online colouring pages to the site.

The latest new additions to my site are from the people colouring section. Spent quite a while sorting out these new ones re-sizing them to the larger format and making sure they work OK with the new online app. Really like these new ones think they work really well.

As always interested to see what you guys think of them, comments most welcome.

Teddy Bear Online Coloring

Been working the past week and a bit on updating the online application that I use in the on-line colouring section of the site, the old one doesn’t let you print the pictures unless you screen shot the web page which is a pain and is quite limited with what it can do.

I’ve tested it loads on lots of my drawings and finally sending thirteen Online Teddy Bear Colouring pictures live for you guys to colour in and play with it.

Great news is I’m starting to run with this new application that has loads more features including:

  • Magic Brush (only fills inside a shape)
  • Flood Fill
  • Save images (three different sizes to choose from)
  • Print Out
  • Different brush sizes
  • Sound (and the ability to turn it off)
  • Post to facebook gallery
  • un-do and re-do
  • Colour picker

I need to do a tutorial page for the help section showing the new features, but with a bit of playing you can find them quite easily. My Daughter has been using it over the weekend and colouring several images while I’ve been testing it, created really cool pictures.

I will be moving the smaller, existing Online Colouring  images across over the next few week to the new platform, as always love to get feedback on what you think of it.

Twelve new online coloring – live

Been up at the Farm most of the day helping my Mum, but managed to get twelve more of the Online Coloring pages live. I have re worked the images on the older ones (they were smaller) and now they are the same size as the rest, also added the new site design to the pages. (still loving the new look)

I also had a massive brain wave this morning, its going to change the site dramatically :)

Must keep focused…

Online Coloring

As part of the new plans for my site, I’m re-working the Online Coloring section, started this last night and been working on it this morning then had a break (went to the Farm and continued to dig out a massive pond – by hand) back on with it tonight, getting loads done and really loving the new look of the pages. I have removed the print feature for the pages, it was killing IE6 users and crashing the web browser.

Good news is that we now have a new side colours bar on there which means extra colours (total of sixty now) I also spent quite a bit of time yesterday choosing these new ones from a colour wheel and spent time testing the new colours on existing pages. I love them and I’m really fussy about whats on the site, I’m sure your kids will love them.

Still loads to do, but really really happy with the new look of the site and the direction its going in, got twenty one pages done today, I’m buzzing :)

The minute the Online colouring pages are finished I’ll be adding the new Dragon and Rhino Printables to it, cant wait… :) Its been a good week!

Butterfly ColouringJust finished working on five new online Colouring Butterfly pages, these new ones are quite complicated with lots of sections to colour in. The new ones feature four Butterfly Colouring pages and one Caterpillar online colouring page.

More Online Colouring

Been another busy one, added seven new Online Colouring pages to the site, a new tiger, three Frogs, Tractor, Hedgehog and a Giraffe driving a car. Really want to get back into drawing again. Wont have much time to do anything over the weekend as I’ll be getting the hay in at the farm (if it ever stops raining) Will have another push to get more of my colouring pages added over the next week though.

Quite pleased with the online colouring page its really starting to take shape, also got another cool email yesterday

I just had to let you know what a wonderful, easy to use site you have. I am a grandparent to a 3 and 5 year old and the fuzzy felt and online colouring in pages keep them both occupied for ages. They’re brilliant!
